Associate

FPGA Design Engineer

in

East Aurora, NY . Moog's Space and Defense Group is the premier motion and flow control solutions provider for the following markets: satellites, human-rated space vehicles, launch vehicles, missiles, military ground vehicles, naval vessels, and security and surveillance. This is an onsite position focused on the WNY Defense Electrical Group. Here are the qualifications you'll typically need to bring with you: Bachelor of Science in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering with relevant FPGA/VHDL coursework completed

Successful internship or industry experience

Knowledge of VHDL and ModelSim simulator

Familiarity with MATLAB and Simulink

Proficient with simulation, testing and debugging tools and techniques

Familiarity with logic analyzers, digital oscilloscope, etc.

Knowledge of interface and network protocols is a plus (ie SPI, I2C, RS-422, RS-485)

As an Associate FPGA Engineer you will: Operate as key element in a team of creative, independent individuals

Engage in collaborative, knowledgeable atmosphere where teamwork is fostered

Contribute to the development of new products through consulting with customers and Systems Engineers

Validate conceptual problem solutions by performing trade studies and analyses

Use VHDL to create FPGA modules with a focus on reusability

Create and execute verification procedures

Document designs, analyses, and test results with accurate and concise reports

#LI-DT1 Salary Range Transparency: Buffalo, NY $70,000.00-$100,000.00 Annually
