About the Role As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing advanced data platform solutions that align with business objectives while upholding industry-leading data privacy standards. Collaborating with cross-functional agile teams, you'll drive strategic data architecture decisions, establish best practices, and contribute to transformative projects in a healthcare-focused enterprise.

Key Responsibilities Data Platform Development : Create Databricks Data Warehouses and Lakehouse solutions to support complex healthcare data needs. Data Governance : Configure and maintain Unity Catalog for enterprise-level data lineage and quality assurance. Data Security : Implement robust protocols to manage sensitive data (PHI/PII) and ensure compliance with security standards. Client-Focused Data Solutions : Build reliable, high-performance data solutions tailored to client needs. ETL Processes : Design Delta Live Table solutions and automate data transformation workflows. Architectural Expertise : Develop enterprise Medallion Architectures for efficient data processing. Real-Time Processing : Create scalable streaming and batch processing solutions for varied business use cases. Large-Scale Data Management : Deliver optimized data solutions for structured and unstructured healthcare datasets. Platform Engineering : Build infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform and Asset Bundles. Cost Optimization : Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver cost-effective and transparent data solutions. Pipeline Management : Architect and maintain scalable data pipelines while enhancing performance monitoring and efficiency. Data Modeling : Lead the design of standards-based data models (e.g., FHIR, OMOP) for healthcare data. Collaboration : Partner with internal and external stakeholders to deliver impactful, functional data solutions. Process Improvement : Automate processes, enhance data delivery, and optimize infrastructure for scalability. Qualifications

7 years of experience designing and developing data platform solutions, including Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, and Data Products. Advanced expertise in Databricks and AWS. Proficiency in relational and non-relational databases, such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB. Proven ability to manage clinical data from structured and unstructured sources. Expertise in healthcare standards (FHIR, C-CDA, HL7) and clinical ontologies (ICD-10, SNOMED, NDC, LOINC, RxNorm). Strong skills in API design, ETL processes, and data ingestion for enterprise applications. Experience in performance tuning, security, query optimization, and monitoring large datasets.
