About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Supply Chain to play a pivotal role in the development of methodologies that drive savings, value, and streamline the supply chain process. This highly visible position is instrumental in building a strong culture of collaborative, hands-on teamwork, and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of 8-10 employees, fostering a high-performance, high-accountability culture, and ensuring the smooth transition of acquisitions. The role demands a strategic leader with a focus on sustainable process improvements, operational efficiencies, and the ability to manage competing priorities. Applicants for the Vice President of Supply Chain role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or project management, with a minimum of 10 years' experience in procurement, purchasing, and supply chain. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in outsourcing, team management, and leading transformational initiatives. Key qualifications include experience in strategic sourcing, vendor management, and logistics, as well as strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with senior leadership. A Master's degree or equivalent experience, financial acumen, and a background in Lean Six Sigma or Agile Project Management are preferred. The role requires a leader who is proficient in MS Office, with a strong project and time management background, and the ability to travel up to 50% across the U.S.
