About the Role
The company is on the lookout for a dynamic VP of Engineering and Applications to spearhead the technology strategy that powers its insurance platforms. This role is crucial for enhancing digital experiences and enabling data-driven decision-making. We seek a compelling leader to manage a high-performing team and focus on platform modernization, multi-tenant innovation, and seamless delivery.
As the VP, you will play a key role in steering our digital transformation initiatives, including large-scale data conversions and cloud migrations. Your leadership will ensure that solutions are secure, scalable, and deliver outstanding user value. Financial accountability and cost optimization will be within your purview as you manage a robust multi-client service-provider model to cater to various mutual P&C insurance companies.
We require applicants to possess a minimum of 15 years of progressive technology leadership experience, complemented by a solid background in P&C insurance, modern technology, and cloud/SaaS solutions. A proven track record in managing large-scale engineering teams, driving platform modernization, and executing digital transformation projects is essential.
An expert understanding of data security, privacy compliance, and regulatory frameworks is vital, along with proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, microservices architecture, and modern modular system design. A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is necessary, with a Master’s degree or MBA preferred. Relevant cloud or Agile/Scrum certifications are advantageous.
If you have a successful history of elevating user experiences, building self-service digital channels, and thriving in fast-paced, multi-priority environments, we want to hear from you!
