Head of DevOps About the Company Reputable provider of cutting-edge technology solutions Industry Information Technology and Services Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is in search of a Head of DevOps with a hands-on approach to lead the design and management of its deployment infrastructure. This role is pivotal in shaping the infrastructure strategy to ensure the secure and efficient deployment of large-scale models. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing systems that integrate AI models, backend services, and web applications, as well as developing secure Docker images, maintaining Helm charts for deployments, and improving CI/CD workflows. As the first dedicated DevOps hire, the Head of DevOps will have a unique opportunity to influence the company's infrastructure from the ground up, particularly in alignment with standards like FedRAMP. Applicants for the Head of DevOps position at the company must have an active U.S. DoD Security Clearance (minimum Secret) and be proficient in Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and CI/CD tools. Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and familiarity with system architecture and cybersecurity best practices are essential. The role also requires experience in making architecture decisions that support the deployment of LLMs and other large-scale models. The ideal candidate will have a background in Python and TypeScript, with exposure to LLMs and open-source model deployment being a plus.
