Seeking a dedicated Family Medicine Physician and Medical Director to join their vibrant rural outpatient practice. This permanent role offers a unique blend of clinical and administrative responsibilities, supporting a team of six providers in a supportive and community-focused environment.ResponsibilitiesProvide outpatient family medicine care at Newport Health Center, managing 16-18 patients per dayServe as Medical Director, dedicating approximately 12 hours per week to administrative and clinical support dutiesWork primarily during day shifts Monday through Friday, including one evening shift until 7:00 PMParticipate in on-call coverage evenings, nights, and weekends with a call ratio of 1:10Utilize Epic EMR for all documentation and patient recordsCollaborate with a team of 6 providers in a rural health center settingSupport quality improvement initiatives and oversee clinical operations as Medical DirectorMaintain compliance with credentialing, licensing, and hospital policiesParticipate actively in patient care, team meetings, and community health outreach as neededRequirementsBoard Certified or Board Eligible (acceptable for the right candidate) in Family MedicineMust have or be willing to obtain New Hampshire state medical licenseBLS certification Manage an average of 16-18 patients per day in an outpatient settingGretchen Sheppard ~ US HealthCare Careers ~ gretchen@ushealthcarecareers.biz ~ 408-686-9450
