Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
8+ years experience in Middleware administration (Jboss/IIS/Apache/Tuxedo). JBoss EAP / WildFly: Installation, domain/standalone mode management, JMS, clustering, performance tuning. Apache HTTP Server: Reverse proxy setup, load balancing (mod_proxy, mod_jk), virtual hosts, SSL, rewrite rules. Microsoft IIS: Site and application pool management, bindings, SSL certs, URL rewrite, Windows Auth, troubleshooting. Oracle Tuxedo: Domain configuration, service monitoring, UBBCONFIG, tmadmin usage, log analysis. Scripting: Strong in Shell / Bash / PowerShell; basic Python preferred. Monitoring: Experience with tools like Splunk, Datadog, Nagios, or similar. CI/CD Integration: Working knowledge of Jenkins, Git, Ansible is a plus. Roles & Responsibilities
End-to-end administration of JBoss EAP, Apache HTTP Server, Microsoft IIS, and Oracle Tuxedo in enterprise environments. Plan, execute, and support application deployments, patches, and configuration changes. Lead performance tuning, root cause analysis (RCA), and incident resolution across middleware components. Maintain high availability, scalability, and security posture of application infrastructure. Perform routine maintenance including log rotation, patch management, backups, SSL certificate renewals, and upgrades. Implement and maintain scripts (Bash/PowerShell/Python) for automation of administrative tasks. Collaborate with cross-functional teamsdevelopment, network, database, and securityfor integration and troubleshooting. Support DR drills, business continuity plans, and ensure adherence to SLAs. Create and maintain detailed documentation, SOPs, and runbooks for operational support. Generic Managerial Skills, If any
