SUMMARYThe Quality Assurance Coordinator supports product quality by conducting internal audits, managing rework and inventory disposition, and addressing internal and customer quality-related inquiries.ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES•Use IQMS CRM to log, review, and investigate internal quality issues.•Facilitate and guide the rework process and manage non-conforming inventory in IQMS.•Perform monthly quality audits (e.g., HACCP, Glass & Brittle Plastic, Risk Assessments) and track corrective actions.•Respond to customer regulatory requests, surveys, and support Sales/Customer Service with product alternatives when current products are not meeting customer needs.•Maintain regulatory documentation, including supplier files, MSDS, chemical labeling, and COAs for raw materials.•Monitor completion of corrective actions for quality audit findings•Manage status of inventory by updating status from conforming to non-conforming through IQMS•Manage COAs on raw materials•Review and audit incoming materials as needed.•Program and operate CMM machine.•Enforce company policies and follow all safety procedures.•Perform other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS•High school or equivalent.•Minimum of 1 year Quality Control experience in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.•Capability to perform reading, writing and speaking at an intermediate level. Spanish speaking is a plus.•Perform the basic functions of arithmetic; add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure. •Ability to apply rational principles to solve practical problems and deal with several concrete variables in standardized situations and to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule form.•Ability to respond to internal and external customer complaints.•Computer skills at an intermediate level. Strong Excel skills required.•Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally to push pull or otherwise move objects.
