JOB DESCRIPTION:
Support the design, planning, coordination, execution, and assessment of joint simulation solutions focused on Joint Live Virtual and Constructive (JLVC) capabilities during USINDOPACOM JEP events, activities, and other assigned projects
Serve as a critical Exercise Control Group (ECG) Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Expert and Architecture Manager, capturing operational needs and translating them into Joint Live, Virtual and Constructive (JLVC) requirements
Identify joint simulation solutions, coordinate across multiple organizations and stakeholders to build the JLVC solution, architecture, and information flows
Lead the M&S/JLVC Working Group during planning and manage roles of Environment Manager within the LVC Cell during event execution in support of the ECG Director
Manage the federation of computer models to support ECG scenario/vignette needs and facilitate realistic information flow across the exercise architecture
Lead test events and validate information flow and architecture during planning and execution
Maintain a flexible demeanor and willingness to support other duties as needed
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree and five (5)+ years of related experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree
Experience in building joint solutions (live - virtual - constructive) to support Joint Field Training Exercises (FTX) and other training events at the tactical and operational levels
Experience with Combatant Command (COCOM) exercises
Experience facilitating Joint M&S/LVC Working Groups to support exercises
Experience with simulation federation management
Familiarity with the Joint Training Manual and Joint Exercise Life Cycle
Experience in building Simulation Test Plans
Must be able to obtain a Passport and be willing to travel up to 25%
REQUIRED CLEARANCE:
Must have an Active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance
Must be a current US Citizen
Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
