Business Analyst Location- Ventura CA Contract- 24 months Contract
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with hands-on experience in Sheriff's Jail Management Systems (JMS). The ideal candidate will work closely with law enforcement agencies, IT teams, and stakeholders to analyze, document, and support the improvement and implementation of JMS solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of public safety operations, particularly within correctional and detention environments.
Qualifications: Proven experience as a Business Analyst working with Jail Management Systems (such as Tyler Technologies, Tritech, or other public safety solutions). Familiarity with jail operations, policies, and correctional workflows. Strong skills in requirements gathering, documentation, and process mapping. Experience working with SQL, reporting tools, and integrated law enforcement systems is a plus. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
