Position Summary Leads Education Specialist team in partnership with Director to achieve ECU Health Medical Center Professional Development Model outcomes. Responds to department, organization, and system needs for professional development through management of resources, consultation, leadership and delivery of programs. Responsibilities
Directs supervises, evaluates and mentors Education Specialists (Nursing and Allied Health). Provides oversight for human, financial and material resources based on identified needs and goals, in alignment with organizational strategic plan. Manages oversight for adhering to accrediting bodies regulations for professional transition programs. Sets, implements and evaluates program goals and outcomes in alignment with the mission, vision and strategic goals of the organization. Analyzes data to demonstrate organizational impact. Leads team as a change agent to support an inclusive and healthy work environment. Transforms processes at the micro, meso, and/or macro system levels using change management strategies and theories to drive outcomes.
Minimum Requirements
Masters degree in adult education and or nursing required.
Nursing requires, current North Carolina RN license.
Minimum of five years' experience in healthcare, plus a minimum of 2 years' experience in teaching adults.
Health care related/Nursing Professional Development certification required within three years of employment
