Title : GCP Cloud Engineer
Location : Dallas, TX (Hybrid with 3 days weekly)
Interview Process: 2 internal round and 1 Client round
Must have :
Firewall and Firewall policies, cloud DNS, VPC, LB and Terraform
Responsibilities: • Implementation experience with identity management and networking segmentation in GCP across multiple VPC networks and multiple projects. Work closely with Architect, Security/application team and provision GCP resources via terraform • Respond to technical issues in a professional and timely manner. • Offer guidance in infrastructure movement techniques, including bulk application transfers into the cloud. • Identify the top cloud architecture solutions to successfully meet the needs of the company. • Support cross-functional teams with establishing technical strategy and architecture at an enterprise level. • Support scalable networking design including high availability, redundancy, fail-over and load balancing. • Support network security design including segmentation, encryption, logging and monitoring. • Assessment and demonstration of new technologies; capacity planning; performance tuning. • Experience leading GCP Cloud micro services delivery at scale, i.e. responsible for: o Deliverables. o Technical and architecture oversight. o CI/CD pipelines. Green/Blue deployments.
Basic Qualifications • 3+ years of GCP experience on provisioning resources via
Terraform •
Google Cloud Certified. • Strong expertise in GCP services (i.e. Cloud Services Platform, Google Kubernetes Engine, Compute Engine, Google Cloud Load Balancing, Storage, Security, Monitoring, etc.). • Knowledge of Security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Key Management, Access Controls and Security Protocols, Network routing, Firewalls, ACL's, cloud IaaS components on GCP. • Knowledge with containerization, orchestration tools like Kubernetes, and continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. • Automate provisioning of networks and access (Organization, Routes/Firewalls, IAM, Policy).
