Job Summary:
The Extrusion Operator is responsible for efficiently operating an extrusion machine for yarn production.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Regularly maintain extrusion line doffs.
String up positions when breakouts occur as efficient as possible.
Effectively pack-out yarn with correct labeling and preparation.
Work with a partner to ensure safe and efficient production.
Learn to clean and inspect spinnerets.
Keep work area clean and organized.
Performance Expectations (if applicable): Lifting, reaching, standing, stooping, and bending is required throughout the shift. Must be able to lift 60 lbs. Must be able to use scissors, a wrap stick, wrenches, and other hand tools. Must be able to distinguish colors and shades.
Experience/Education Requirements: High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous Extrusion experience preferred.
Other Requirements: Overtime required on occasion. All accidents must be reported immediately. Perform any other duties as assigned.
