Project Manager - Heavy Civil Construction

Project Manager

to join their team. Their projects include

earthwork, excavation, underground utilities,

highway, and other heavy civil infrastructure , and they have built a 80 + year reputation for excellence

Position Overview:

The

Project Manager

will oversee projects from

pre-construction through completion , ensuring they stay on schedule and within budget while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure safety programs are established and followed Monitor financials, including cost tracking, projections, invoicing, and change orders Collaborate with superintendents to determine equipment, personnel, and scheduling needs Manage project documentation, including

submittals, RFIs, permits, and work plans Oversee

subcontractor scopes, committed costs, and scheduling Conduct pre-construction planning and estimating reviews Track and maintain cost accounting, change orders, and reporting metrics Lead project closeout, including

final documentation, retainage release, and invoicing Qualifications & Requirements:

High School diploma required

(Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred) 5+ years of industry experience , managing multiple heavy civil projects Experience in

earthwork, excavation, underground utilities, highway, or other heavy civil projects. Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills Ability to
