PL/SQL Developer Rate:

$69.54 hour on w2 Location:

Charlotte, NC - Hybrid 3 days onsite *Candidate must be able to commute to client location from day 1* *Candidate must be able to work on the client's W2 without sponsorship, employer or vendor*

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled PL/SQL developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with outdated ETL processes and be capable of preparing data to facilitate reporting. This is a technical position focused on ensuring efficient data processing and automation. Key Responsibilities:

Oracle Exadata:

Utilize experience with versions 12c or above to manage and optimize databases. (Currently in 19c) PL/SQL:

Handle outdated ETL processes with a strong emphasis on packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and indexing. Provide troubleshooting support as the team transitions to other ETL tools. Dynamic SQL:

Develop and maintain dynamic SQL queries. Parallel Processing:

Design and automate processes using Autosys. Experience with scheduling software such as Control M, Autosys, and IBM tools is required. SQL Explain Plan:

Analyze and optimize SQL queries using Explain Plan. Data Preparation:

Prepare data to simplify reporting processes, ensuring minimal need for complex data processing. Requirements Gathering:

Collaborate with small business lending teams, especially in digital analytics (AB Initio), to gather and understand requirements. Transformation Projects:

Support the transformation of small business processes using tools like nCino, ensuring data integration into the analytics space. Dashboard Integration:

Feed data into dashboards for real-time analysis and reporting. Regulatory Reporting:

Manage regulatory reporting processes, ensuring all reports are accurately generated and submitted. Automation Recreation:

Recreate and optimize processes for automation. Performance Tuning:

Apply fundamental knowledge of performance tuning to ensure efficient data processing and system operations. Preferred Experience:

Previous experience with banks or similar financial institutions is highly desirable. Strong understanding of how data works behind the scenes, with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize performance. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience in data engineering, with a focus on Oracle Exadata and PL/SQL. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
