Title: IT Solutions Architect III (remote) Location: Remote, EST or CST (Boston local preferred)

Roles and Responsibilities:

What is the most important skillset: Experience with architecture within a large organization, solid team collaboration. Looking for someone who's had data regulatory roles in a regulated industry (e.g. SEC) Any immediate disqualifiers: Not looking for a showoff, must be a team player who's shown stability and hasn't moved around too much. Can you tell me what the person's day to day will be like: Bring power of enterprise together, creating diagrams, communication with security, data office, engineering teams, etc. Communicate best practices, pros/cons, debunk myth busters, break rumors of what is possible and not possible. Attend meetings, work with executive teams. There will be a great deal of communication as well as collaboration. Required:

Technical Architecture with deep knowledge of Snowflake and BigID. Extensive experience with Snowflake having used it and deployed it to make administration easier. Job description: Solutions Architect

Contributes to the development the technology strategy and technology roadmaps that enable the business. This role would focus on bringing the full power of data to daily use at ***. This would include knowledge of data lakes, warehouses, lakehouses, ETL, data catalogs, etc. Specific knowledge and experience with Snowflake Data Cloud is a requirement. Knowledge of BigID and data protection are a plus. Provides consultation and collaborates with Engineering Managers, business partners and peer groups regarding long and short-range product features. Provides oversight at the business capability domain level influencing decision-making and prioritizing the business and architecture backlog for the aligned development squads. Educates and drives adoption of the well-architected framework in order to promote Operational Excellence, Security, Reliability, Performance Efficiency, Cost Optimization into cultural norms. Contributes to design and development of architecture (integrated process, methodology, framework, software/applications, data, information, and technology) scalable solutions to business problems in alignment with the enterprise architecture direction and standards. Influences and partners with the Product Owners and engineering teams to align the technical design and strategy with the product roadmap. Connects Solution Engineering with Technology and Portfolio Architecture work to ensure sound roadmaps which deliver business value. Responsible for prototyping complex, cross platform business solutions to validate newer technologies. Reviews and ensures major architectural designs are consistent, maintainable, flexible and cost-effective solutions. Participates with application and infrastructure design architects to provide guidance for development and releases. Maintains collaborative and strategic partnerships between customers, vendors, business partners, and technology teams. Shares expertise ensuring that teams are continuously improving and learning together to meet current and future engineering and architecture needs.
