Chart Water is seeking an individual with advanced knowledge of water treatment processes which include, but are not limited to, Oxidation/Filtration, Coagulation/Filtration, Adsorption, Regenerative Ion Exchange, Reverse Osmosis, Nanofiltration, Ultrafiltration, and Biological Treatment. This role providesengineering and project support related to system design, proposals, project scoping, and execution of watertreatment projects with a focus on critical manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will also have significant experience with identification and sizing of equipment used in water treatment applications, such as pumps,valves, piping, tanks and electrical components.

What Will You Do?

Responsibilities include performing a variety of advanced engineering support and project tasks related to system design, proposal preparation, project scoping, and execution of water treatment projects.

Responsible for preparing technical scopes of work, equipment design and sizing, cost estimates, interfacing with Technical Sales Managers (TSMs) for technical sales support and preparing technical documents related to a wide variety of water treatment projects.

Analyze operational and analytical data from pilots and full-scale systems and dictate any process changes required

Provide support in preparing bids, project development, design, and implementation of new treatment opportunities that will assist AdEdge in growing the business.

Work will involve application of existing and new technologies for treatment of a variety of water-related contaminants for potable water, industrial process water, and groundwater remediation projects.

Act as a team leader for certain types of technologies and advanced projects

Ability to troubleshoot pilot and full-scale processes in person and remote

Maintain select design tools and standard proposal and project documents

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require...

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate and listen to verbal instructions and correspondence.

The employee frequently is required to sit for extended periods of time, stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.

The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Lifting of 50 pounds may be required.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Duties include lengthy visual requirements on computer monitors.

Your Experience Should Be...

B.S. degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical preferred)

Min 10+ years of relevant engineering experience with emphasis in water treatment systems and technologies

Technical experience in water treatment system design and operation

Equipment sizing and selection experience

Full-scale system startup and piloting experience

Direct experience with treatment equipment, Manufacturer's Reps, contractors, and vendors related to water treatment

Hands-on knowledge and operations of water or wastewater treatment systems

Supervisory experience managing technical personnel
