Description

We are seeking an exceptional Research Program Manager to build and scale global research programs that leverage intelligent tools and methodologies. This role will work at the intersection of UX research, AI-powered prototyping, and program management to influence key product decisions on company-wide priorities while establishing innovative research mechanisms that drive customer-centric outcomes.

Key job responsibilities

Strategic Program Leadership:

Build and scale global research programs that combine traditional UX research with intelligent tools

Define, establish, and maintain global operational and company-wide research programs

Work alongside cross-functional partners and leadership to craft and facilitate research-driven product decisions

Lead the implementation of AI-powered research tools and methodologies

Research Operations & Innovation:

Deploy intelligent tools for market scanning, secondary research, and trend analysis

Develop processes for research quality amplification using AI tools

Oversee the development of an intelligent knowledge base for research insights

Manage research participant pools and vendor relationships

Program Execution & Risk Management:

Drive on-time delivery of innovative solutions that delight customers

Proactively identify and mitigate risks through structured planning and monitoring

Provide clear communication to stakeholders regarding project status, resources, and priorities

Contribute to documentation including weekly reports, business reviews, and audits

Cross-functional Collaboration:

Partner with UX Researchers to design, execute, and socialize user-centered research insights

Coordinate with data scientists and technology teams on AI tool implementation

Work cross functionally with peers/colleagues globally to support training, best practices, and shared opportunities

Work with product teams to ensure research insights drive product decisions

About the team

Within Amazon, Selling Partner Service's (SPS) goal is to enable third-party Sellers of any size by helping them build the business they want. In the Core Selling Partner Experience (CSPE) team, we define, implement, and enforce quality standards for all Amazon-built experiences for Selling Partners worldwide.

Basic Qualifications

3+ years of program or project management experience

Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to manage complex programs

Excellence in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration

Deep understanding of research methodologies and operations

Experience with process development and optimization

Strong communication and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with AI/ML technologies and their application in research

Proven ability to bring definition to ambiguity and manage complexity at scale

Track record of empowering teams through clear processes and constraints

Deep knowledge of software design and development processes

Experience with agile methodologies and data-driven decision making

Demonstrated ability to exceed expectations on both strategic and tactical projects

Experience managing global research programs

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Passion for customer-centric innovation

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
