Senior Technical Project Manager

Salary: $140,000–$160,000
Overview:
Our client, a mission-driven organization with a focus on data transformation at scale, is looking for a
Senior Technical Project Manager
to help steer critical initiatives across their centralized data function. This is a highly collaborative and operationally complex role, ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology, process, and strategy.
The Role:
Reporting into the Head of Analytics, this role will manage intake, planning, and execution of key analytics and data initiatives. You’ll partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure timely and successful delivery of projects that touch every corner of the organization, from dashboards and reporting to infrastructure and governance.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and manage demand intake, backlog grooming, and sprint planning across the data team
Lead end-to-end project delivery, from defining scope and timelines to risk mitigation and change management
Serve as the primary liaison between business leaders and technical teams, ensuring alignment across priorities
Maintain clear and structured documentation using tools like Jira, Confluence, or Monday.com
Report progress, blockers, and key milestones to executive stakeholders and analytics leadership
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in technical or data project management
Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, or hybrid methodologies
Comfortable working with SQL, cloud platforms, and modern data visualization tools
Exceptional organizational and communication skills, especially when working across functions
PMP or Scrum Master certification but not required
Experience delivering data-focused or enterprise-scale technical projects is a must
