Job description Clark County Juvenile Detention Center-SERIOUS APPLICANTS ONLY $17 an hour upon hire - Part-time with the possibility of full time. Must be able to work weekends and during the week. Flexible scheduling. Part time employees have very flexible scheduling, hours vary based on employee availability to work. All employees must initially start out Part time and complete all required training to be eligible to apply for any available full time positions. Full time positions are available for the right candidate with a possibility of fast track from part time to full time. Juvenile Detention Facility currently accepting applications for juvenile correctional officers. You must be at least 21 years of age, have a valid driver's license, at a minimum possess a high school diploma or equivalent, have clean state, national, & child protective services records checks, successfully complete a pre-employment physical. Experience working with youth is preferred. Juvenile correction officers maintain the safety and security of incarcerated youth in a maximum security facility. Hours vary and are based on your availability. Days, Nights, Weekends, and Holiday hours available. Full time positions are only filled from our part-time roster. We currently have openings on all shifts (day/night/weekends). Earning Overtime is possible at this time. Must be willing to work throughout the entire month, a variety of shifts in order to be considered.
