Commercial Property Manager
The Opportunity We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of a portfolio of properties. This role includes managing tenant relations, coordinating maintenance, advertising vacant units, and handling financial tasks such as rent collection and expense tracking. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess excellent communication skills, and be committed to providing outstanding customer service.
What You'll Do: As a Property Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining efficient daily operations while ensuring tenant satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include:
Marketing vacant units through advertising and property viewings.
Conducting tenant screenings, including interviews and credit checks.
Assisting with lease negotiations and ensuring compliance with lease agreements.
Handling tenant inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner.
Coordinating maintenance and repair work with vendors and contractors.
Collecting monthly rent payments and managing late payment resolutions.
Tracking income and expenses, maintaining accurate records.
Assisting with preparing financial reports and budget planning.
Conducting property inspections before tenant move-in and after move-out.
Supporting lease renewals and assisting with eviction proceedings as needed.
Ensuring compliance with property management regulations and company policies. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Basic knowledge of real estate principles and property management best practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software.
Strong customer service and negotiation skills. Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
2-4 years of experience in property management or a related field.
Knowledge of real estate regulations and leasing procedures.
Ability to work on-site, Monday to Friday, with occasional travel as needed.
