Link Technologies (LinkTechConsulting.com), a Las Vegas-based IT consulting firm, is currently seeking an IT Asset Management Analyst Associate to join our team in Denver, CO.
POSITION OVERVIEW
This role is responsible for supporting the business technologies asset lifecycle for both hardware and software. The position includes processing and coordinating logistics for new hardware orders and entering predetermined asset information into asset management software systems based on the equipment owner's requirements.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
In addition to prior asset management experience, the ideal candidate will have experience in some or all of these areas:
Experience in analyzing data, generating reports, and presenting findings to stakeholders. Skills in managing projects, timelines, and resources. Familiarity with software tools and platforms used for asset management, such as databases, inventory management systems, and automation tools. Office 365 and ServiceNow experience a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify inefficiencies and develop innovative solutions. Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Precision in tracking and managing assets to ensure accuracy and compliance. A mindset focused on continuous improvement and staying updated with industry trends and best practices. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Logistics planning for all received hardware and adding asset into ServiceNow. Data entry and data updates of asset information into asset management system databases (PCR360, ServiceNow, Excel, Maximo). Develop standard operating procedure for business technologies asset management division. Complete physical and virtual inspection on assets. Assist with removal and disposal of e-waste hardware following company standards. Assist with, or coordinate depending on order size and complexity, transferring inventory to its designated storage area, staging it for pre-production, and delivering it to the equipment owner for production. Track asset status throughout each phase of the asset management lifecycle using the business technologies asset management tracking software. Track hardware in the asset management software systems and physically move or coordinate hardware transfers to designated locations. Help transition physical inventory from stock to the appropriate work location and update system records to reflect movement into the production environment. Retrieve end-of-life hardware and disposing of it in accordance with company standards. Assist with software asset management tasks, including license allocation and harvesting, record maintenance, process improvements, and documentation. Help draft and implement standard operating procedures to establish repeatable, documented processes for the business technologies division. Responsible for ongoing tracking of hardware and software within asset management software systems. Participate in creating and implementing new or more efficient processes as needed. Conduct in-person visual and physical audits of business technologies assets at the company, documenting findings and completing necessary forms for assets deemed 'stolen' or 'not found.' Notify the manager when inventory or stock levels fall below predetermined thresholds. PHYSICAL DEMANDS
