Job Description: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Position Overview

TLC Nursing Associates, Inc.

is seeking a

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

for

travel assignments

in healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders in patients across various age groups.

Responsibilities Evaluate and diagnose

speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders . Develop and implement

individualized treatment plans

for patients. Work with

patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams

to provide comprehensive care. Educate patients and caregivers on

communication techniques and swallowing strategies . Utilize

assistive communication devices

and alternative therapy methods when needed. Maintain accurate

documentation and progress reports

in compliance with healthcare regulations. Participate in

rehabilitation planning and patient advocacy . Qualifications Education:

Master's degree in

Speech-Language Pathology

from an accredited program. Licensure:

State-issued

SLP license

(or eligibility for state licensure). Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from

ASHA (preferred) .

Experience:

1+ years of experience

in a clinical or healthcare setting (preferred).

Skills:

Strong knowledge of

speech therapy techniques, patient evaluation, and treatment planning . Excellent

communication, critical thinking, and patient engagement skills .

Travel Readiness:

Willingness to relocate for
