Job Overview:

Phlebotomist within our Clinical team is a pivotal role which requires a dynamic professional with strong experience in collecting laboratory specimen such as blood, urine, saliva and stool per protocol and established procedures. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with medical and clinical teams whilst interacting with patients and having the opportunity to be involved in first-in-human drug studies, which can be very rewarding.

Responsibilities:

Prepares, verifies, and completes sample requisitions under ClinSpark, LabDAQ, or paper.

Organizes study specific documentation and labels and prepares for daily assignments.

Understands the appropriate patient identification, collection system, order of draw, and appropriate specimen required for specified tests.

Properly explains process and performs venipuncture and other specimen collection as required using multiple collection methods.

Labeling and Processing specimens, transport specimens, centrifuge, aliquot, and preparing for shipment when necessary.

Perform non-patient facing duties including stocking, inventory, and study specific documentation.

Work Environment:

The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions; works in a temperature-controlled laboratory, however, is subject to atmospheric conditions.

40+ hour Schedules are posted about 3 to 4 weeks in advance What We're Looking For:

1 years' plus experience in Phlebotomy in a clinical setting

Experience in specimen processing and management such as blood, urine, saliva and stool.

Knowledge of GLP or GCP

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Demonstrate the ability to adapt and operate by the needs of unique client protocols; perform laboratory testing according to established standards and regulations.

Certification in Phlebotomy from recognized organization (MLT certification also acceptable) is preferred.
