Job Title: Phlebotomist II
Location: 3months
Duartion: Green Bay WI
Shift: M-F 8:30am to 5:30pm
Job Summary: The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) serves as the face of the organization, welcoming patients for routine health visits or critical lab work. This role requires skillful and safe blood collection, patient interaction, and sample preparation for testing, all while upholding a high level of confidentiality and professionalism. PSR IIs may be assigned to a doctor's office, patient service center, or other locations based on business needs.
Primary Responsibilities: Perform daily operational tasks accurately and punctually under supervisor direction. Create a safe, clean, and professional environment for patients and staff. Confidently collect forensic and clinical specimens, following all procedures and protocols. Verify and label specimens accurately in the patient's presence, ensuring proper documentation and demographic confirmation. Maintain all required logs, patient records, and documentation. Build trust by clearly explaining procedures to patients and providing excellent care. Represent the organization positively to all internal and external stakeholders. Adhere strictly to company policies and procedures, including confidentiality, safety, and appearance standards.
Job Requirements: Skills & Competencies: Deliver quality, error-free work in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. Work independently with minimal on-site supervision. Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections. Comfortable with flexible scheduling: weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed. Strong multitasking, time management, and prioritization abilities. Demonstrates Superior Customer Focus and clear communication with patients and team members. Ability to adapt to change and maintain confidentiality. Must be able to exercise good judgment and follow established protocols. Keyboard and data entry proficiency required. Transportation: Must have reliable personal transportation (bus/Uber/rideshare not acceptable). Valid driver's license and clean driving record (if applicable). Willingness to travel to multiple sites with minimal notice.
Education & Certifications: Required: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience Requirements: Required: 3+ years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary draws
