Primary Responsibilities:
Working closely with other developers, designers, business and systems analysts Develop applications processing large data volume efficiently. Provide guidance on industry best practices, guidelines and governance for application/systems. Work closely with Quality Assurance to ensure end product is delivered with quality outcomes. Perform benefit analysis for IT solutions and make recommendations for technology direction. Researching, designing, implementing and managing software programs Testing and evaluating new programs Identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications Writing and implementing efficient code Determining operational practicality Developing quality assurance procedures Deploying software tools, processes and metrics Maintaining and upgrading existing systems
