Survey Instrument Operator IPay range - $15 and up, commensurate with experience. 0-3 years of experience (Entry Level) Associate's Degree or higher in Survey & Geomatics, Survey Technology, or other related surveying program preferred, Surveyor-In-Training (SIT) is preferred and encouraged, HS diploma or GED required. Have strong mathematical, analytical, and communication skills Must be willing to travel and flexible with changing schedules and workload demands Valid PA driver's license with acceptable driving record General understanding of AutoCAD, Civil 3D preferred Responsibilities will include Independently work as part of 2-man survey crew Maintain equipment Monitor and coordinate supply requests Obtain understanding of TCG Equipment and applicable uses Obtain understanding of survey point data collection and documentation Must maintain responsibility to Survey Crew Chief Must be able to work in a team environment Must maintain responsibility for his/her actions Encouraged to: Maintain client interaction Pursue responsibilities listed under the Survey Instrument Operator II role Obtain general comprehension of construction drawings/specifications. Obtain general comprehension of drafting and field computations for surveys
