Responsibilities
Architect scalable UI solutions using modern frameworks like React, Vue, Angular, or Svelte while establishing technical standards and best practices
Design secure authentication flows across platforms using WebAuthn, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and Passkeys with emphasis on phishing resistance
Lead proof-of-concept initiatives that translate business requirements into production-ready technical solutions
Implement MicroFrontend architecture, Server-Side Rendering, and optimize delivery through CDN strategies and web packaging
Drive adoption of modern UI design patterns including Atomic Design, Container/Presentational components, and Hooks-based architecture
Establish robust security practices for web applications including CORS, CSRF protection, CHIPS, SameSite cookies, and Content Security Policy
Requirements
8+ years of front-end development experience with 3+ years in UI architecture or technical leadership roles
Deep expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and at least one modern UI framework (React, Vue, Angular, Svelte)
Proven experience implementing secure authentication mechanisms and managing cross-origin security challenges
Strong knowledge of Node.js for server-side rendering, tooling development, and backend-for-frontend patterns
Experience with UI testing frameworks including Playwright, Cypress, Jest, and Testing Library
Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and establish coding standards and design principles
Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
Able to work onsite at the client's offices in New York City 3 days a week
