Backroom Lead - Teen Challenge

Job Summary:

The Backroom Lead is responsible for leading and managing a team to accomplish daily production goals, provide donor customer service, and meet quality operational standards.

Essential Job Functions:

Adheres to Teen Challenge's mission, vision, and core values to ensure that the highest level of customer service is being met. The Backroom Lead ensures that the company's safety policies, programs, and procedures are followed in the backroom by all employees and students. Responsible for documenting and reporting all accidents within their area of responsibility in accordance with company guidelines. Ensures all donors are communicated with properly and in a timely manner. Guarantees all production and donation counts are accurate and recorded on a daily basis. Accountable for the team achieving daily production goals. Expected to keep the backroom organized and efficient, including the adjacent outdoor area. Responsible for maintaining adequate supplies for the production team. Oversees the proper maintenance of the trucks and the scheduling of drivers to meet the demands for donations. Assists the Store Manager with annual employee evaluations. Notifies the Store Manager of any customer complaints and concerns related to employees or students. Have the knowledge and training to oversee the operations of the store in the absence of the Store Manager. Other duties as assigned. Physical Demands:

While performing this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, handle or lift objects, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, and kneel. Most activities involve repetitive upper-body movement and bending. The employee must, on occasion, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. This is a "hands-on" leadership position.
