Senior Java Software Developer
to join our dynamic team to design, build, and implement new features in an existing enterprise application.
This position will be Hybrid (if located in DFW), or Remote (if located outside of DFW) with required quarterly travel.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain Java applications using SpringBoot and microservices architecture Drive quality through consistent application of Test-Driven Development (TDD) Design and build internal tools and user-facing features that enhance the user experience Collaborate with Product, DevOps, and QA teams in an Agile environment Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in production and development environments Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews Required Skills and Experience:
7+ Years of experience in Java and Spring Boot 7+ Years of experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases Experience with Agile development methodologies Proficient in cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP Strong experience with GIT for version control Skilled in testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito Excited about Test Driven Development and software quality Preferred Skills and Experience:
10+ Years of experience in Java and Spring Boot 2+ years of practical Test-Driven Development experience Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g. Angular, React) Experience modernizing legacy applications or "strangling" monoliths
