Collaborate with internal customers, prospects, and stakeholders to understand and translate business use cases and/or requirements into data analysis and mapping. Develop data integration routines for moving, cleansing, and transforming large volumes of data between multiple systems. Identify data sources, provide data flow diagrams, and document source-to-target mapping and processes. Work closely with the Data Architect to recommend optimal data models for ingestion, and with BI developers for analytic reporting. Provide technical support to team members building database applications on-premise or on a cloud platform. Design, implement, and maintain database objects (tables, views, indexes, etc.) and database security protocols. Partner with data stewards, owners, and domain experts to adopt best practices in reporting and analysis (data integrity, test design, validation, and documentation). Optimize data warehouse performance through batch processing improvements and performance tuning. Collaborate with the Data Architect to establish governance processes for educational metadata. Ensure data quality through audit controls, monitoring, and data cleansing techniques. Perform integrity checks on scheduled data processes, handle deployments, and coordinate releases. Provide on-call support after hours as needed. Use source version control tools like GitHub and CICD pipelines. Requirements

5+ years in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence 5+ years in BI development using Microsoft SQL Server (2014+); expertise in T-SQL required 5+ years in SSIS and stored procedure development 2+ years of experience in Power BI Experience ingesting and aggregating data from internal and external sources Strong understanding of data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical), ODS, EDW, and data marts Proficient in relational database design and SQL programming Experience mentoring junior developers Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills Deep knowledge of business intelligence and data warehousing best practices Bachelor's degree (preferably in Computer/Information Sciences or Business/Commerce) Nice to Have

1-2 years in Azure Data Warehouse (Synapse) 1-2 years in Azure Data Factory, SQL VMs, and working with ETL pipelines and Data Lakes
