Principal Salesforce Administrator - Revenue Operations Systems

The Principal Salesforce Administrator is responsible for leading the administration, optimization, and strategic evolution of our Salesforce platform, with a strong focus on revenue operations and enablement. This role is critical to building scalable infrastructure across our go-to-market teams and bringing deep subject matter expertise in Salesforce and CPQ to support end-to-end sales productivity and performance.
What does a great Principal Salesforce Administrator do?
You are a strategic, hands-on systems expert with strong business acumen and deep Salesforce experience, including expertise in CPQ. You thrive in cross-functional environments, translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions, and play a critical role in how we operationalize and measure our GTM strategy. You're analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about enabling sales through intelligent systems design.
How you will provide meaningful contributions
Act as the primary administrator of Salesforce, owning system configuration, data architecture, and process automation across Sales Cloud and related tools. Serve as the internal subject matter expert for Salesforce CPQ, managing product catalog, pricing logic, quoting workflows, and renewals. Partner with RevOps, Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to improve and automate GTM processes including lead routing, opportunity management, territory assignments, and sales forecasting. Design and implement scalable workflows, flows, and custom configurations to support evolving business needs. Develop and maintain high-impact reports and dashboards to enable data-driven decision-making across the sales funnel and customer lifecycle. Support integration and data flow between Salesforce and other key systems (e.g., ERP, billing, CLM, marketing automation). Ensure system governance, security, data integrity, and compliance with change management practices. Identify and lead high-impact platform enhancements in support of go-to-market and revenue initiatives. Basic Qualifications for Consideration
7-10 years of experience administering Salesforce in a B2B environment, with at least 3+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ. Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM 201) required; Salesforce CPQ Specialist Certification preferred. Proven experience supporting revenue operations and GTM strategy through scalable Salesforce configuration and automation. Deep understanding of Salesforce declarative tools (Flows, validation rules, custom objects, approval processes, formula fields). Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Product, Marketing, and IT stakeholders. Experience with third-party tools and integrations (e.g., NetSuite, Zone, HubSpot, DocuSign, Gong, Zendesk, Power BI) is a plus. Preferred Skills / Experience
Salesforce CPQ Specialist or Advanced Administrator Certification. Experience working in high-growth B2B SaaS or recurring revenue environments. Working knowledge of Apex, SOQL, and Salesforce DevOps or change management best practices. Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP (e.g., NetSuite), billing platforms (e.g., Zone), and CLM systems (e.g., Ironclad, DocuSign). The salary may also be adjusted based on the applicant's geographic location. Salary range: $175,000 - $185,000.
