Headquartered in Longmont, this industry leader works with healthcare organizations across all 50 states, providing expert support in managing revenue cycles and ensuring exceptional patient financial experiences.

About the Role:

As a Healthcare Customer Service Representative, you will assist patients over the phone with their medical accounts. This is a vital role focused on helping patients navigate financial responsibilities with empathy, professionalism, and clarity. You will handle both inbound and outbound calls, working to resolve account balances and provide guidance on payment options, insurance details, and financial assistance programs.

Key Responsibilities: Manage approximately 6-7 inbound calls per hour, helping patients understand and resolve account balances. Conduct outbound calls to follow up on outstanding accounts and initiate resolutions. Clearly and accurately document all account actions and communications. Assist patients with financial assistance options, insurance details, and payment plans. Process payments over the phone and establish payment arrangements within guidelines. Handle patient inquiries and complaints with professionalism and escalate issues as appropriate. Maintain and manage assigned work queues and complete reports as required. Qualifications: Prior experience in customer service, ideally within healthcare or financial services. Strong proficiency with technology and common software applications; Microsoft Office preferred. Minimum typing speed of 30 WPM. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Reliable, dependable, and accountable in attendance and performance. High school diploma or equivalent required. Work Environment: Standard office environment with moderate noise levels, consistent lighting, and temperature control. Occasional standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 lbs. Why Join?
