We are currently seeking a Mental Health Therapist in our Fort Dodge location. This independent clinic specializes in the treatment of children as well as adults with co-occurring, substance use and gambling concerns. Our office provides a comprehensive treatment team including, Substance Use Counselors, Recovery Coaches, and Psychiatry staff that work together to provide excellent client care.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Conducts clinical assessments and provides diagnosis, treatment and referrals when indicated

Carries a treatment caseload; provides psychotherapy for individuals, couples, families, and groups as appropriate; starts and ends sessions on time; and maintains consumer confidentiality

Accurately and punctually completes needed clinical documentation and insurance authorization requests

Maintains appropriate client and pre-client case records

Provides clients and families with referral resources for the services not provided by this agency or when this agency’s services are not appropriate

Schedule:

Type: Full-time

Hours: 40 hours each week, Monday-Friday during regular business hours.

Education and Experience Qualifications:

Master’s degree from an accredited university in the social or behavioral sciences is required.

Current Iowa Licensure as a Psychologist, Independent Social Worker, Mental Health Counselor or Marriage and Family Therapist is required. Temporary licensed individuals are welcome to apply.
