What will you be doing? As an Electrical and Instrumentation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing the electrical and instrumentation equipment at our production facility. Your responsibilities will include: Inspecting, testing, adjusting, calibrating, and repairing a variety of electric, electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic instruments and systems. Monitoring meters, indicators, and gauges to identify any abnormal fluctuations. Maintaining a thorough understanding of our operations software and hardware. Conducting preventative maintenance checks on all control instrumentation. Troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical failures, and effectively resolving these issues. Completing work order cycles, documenting work performed, confirming time, and maintaining equipment history. Diagnosing electrical equipment issues and implementing appropriate solutions. Performing cleaning, lubrication, calibration, and adjustments as needed. Installing and commissioning electrical equipment as required. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment by performing housekeeping duties. Utilizing a multi-craft skill set to undertake various maintenance tasks as assigned. Who you are: You possess a high school diploma or equivalent; a technical degree is preferred. You have 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience. You excel in both team-oriented and independent work environments, with minimal supervision. You have a proven ability to maintain and adjust equipment to maximize production and reduce downtime. You are experienced with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and have familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers, Servo, and Frequency Drives. You demonstrate a professional attitude and strong collaborative skills. You prioritize workplace safety and adhere to all safety procedures. You maintain an organized work area and engage in good housekeeping practices. You are willing to work shifts that may include weekends, nights, and holidays.
