ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Document Imaging Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accurate verification, scanning, and indexing of loan documents and/or deposit account documents. This role is crucial for maintaining organized, accessible, and secure electronic records. The specialist will work closely with various departments to ensure the integrity and accessibility of all digitized documents.
YOU WILL:
Scan documents using high-speed scanners, ensuring all pages are legible and complete. Index scanned documents accurately in the document management system, assigning appropriate identifiers for easy retrieval. Ensure all documents are handled in compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Work collaboratively with loan officers, customer service representatives, and other bank staff to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to document imaging. Perform quality control checks on scanned documents to ensure accuracy. Manage and prioritize workload to meet deadlines and service level agreements. Provide training and support to other staff members on document imaging procedures and best practices. Assist in the development and implementation of document imaging policies and procedures. Maintain confidentiality and security of all documents and information.
Requirements
ABOUT YOU: High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 1 year of experience in document imaging, records management, or a related field, preferably within the banking or financial services industry. Proficiency in using document management systems and scanning equipment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. ABOUT COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

This is an hourly, non-exempt position with an expected pay range of $16.50 - $23 per hour (pay outside this range will be considered based on experience). Paid time off is available up front, including paid vacation time, paid flex (personal) time, paid volunteer time off, and 11 paid holidays. We partner with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois to offer 2 health plans, dental insurance, and vision insurance. The bank pays for short-term disability, long-term disability, and life insurance on your behalf. You can purchase additional life insurance for yourself, a spouse, or dependents at a group rate. Discretionary 401k match and profit-sharing contributions are made on your behalf once you have met the eligibility requirements.
