Duties and Responsibilities: Interpret blueprints, engineering drawing, and GD&T call outs Assists in establishing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance programs Trains and assist other quality engineers with their duties, as needed Reviews/approves inspection reports and logs that show the details of all tests and/or inspections performed Report nonconformities and support resolution efforts through communication with project managers, quality control inspectors, and quality control supervisors Experience managing budgets and tracking project performance Demonstrate professionalism in written and verbal communication. Ability to generate letters, proposals, emails, reports, etc. associated with both commercial and technical information Development of schedules and status schedules on a consistent basis Prepare internal bi-weekly financial reports and profit projections for all active projects May play a role in project planning and estimating in the bid and proposal phase Must pass background check, employment verification, and drug screening Due to government contract requirements, applicants must be U.S. citizens Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working under NQA-1, ISO, and/or DOE Order 414.1D quality programs. Experience with B31.1 and B31.3 work Experience with ASME Section III and/or ASME Section VIII quality programs Experience with AISC quality program. Minimum Qualifications and/or Employment Experience:

Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B. S.) from a four-year college or university; or one to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical demands:

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to stand, bend, squat, and lift (up to 50 lbs.) Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Use of hands and arms to operate tools and inspection equipment is required. This position may require working in hot or cold environments.

Working Environment:

The Quality Engineer position is performed in a fabrication shop setting. PPE is required to include but not limited to safety glasses, hearing protection, and work boots. The Environment is deadline-driven with a strong focus on safety, quality, and precision. The quality engineer will have daily collaboration with cross-function teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
