Construction Project Manager - Data Center

Position: Project Manager - Hyperscale Data Center Location: Indianapolis, IN (On-Site) Company: Top 25 General Contractor A nationally ranked general contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a large-scale hyperscale data center project in Indianapolis. This is a long-term, high-visibility role managing complex scopes, aggressive schedules, and mission-critical stakeholder relationships on a marquee build. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all phases of construction from preconstruction through commissioning Manage cost, schedule, procurement, subcontractor coordination, and risk Lead owner, design team, and trade partner communications and meetings Drive schedule adherence across MEP, structural, and architectural scopes Ensure compliance with QA/QC standards, safety protocols, and client specifications Lead document control processes (RFIs, submittals, change orders, etc.) Coordinate closely with field teams and commissioning agents on turnover milestones Track project performance and reporting for both internal and client stakeholders Required Skills & Experience: 8-12+ years of construction management experience, with a strong focus on mission-critical or data center projects Proven success managing complex, high-value projects ($100M+) Deep understanding of MEP systems, fast-track schedules, and critical infrastructure delivery Strong leadership and organizational skills with ability to manage large teams Proficient in Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, and other construction management tools Preferred Qualifications: Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field Experience with hyperscale clients (e.g., Meta, AWS, Google, Microsoft) OSHA 30 and PMP certification preferred Ability to work full-time on-site in Indianapolis for the duration of the multi-year program
