AWS Cloud Solutions Engineer

Maximus is on the lookout for an experienced AWS Cloud Solutions Engineer dedicated to building and optimizing AWS infrastructure for DoD applications. Your primary focus will be on ensuring scalability, security, and high performance, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance cloud configurations and automate operational processes. This is an on-site position and requires an active TS/SCI clearance. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain scalable AWS infrastructures tailored for DoD applications. Implement robust security measures, automate operational activities, and utilize CI/CD tools to streamline processes. Collaborate with teams to fine-tune AWS network and storage configurations for optimal performance. Create scripts to automate network configurations and ensure security compliance. Required Qualifications: Active TS/SCI clearance is mandatory. Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience (5 years of experience may substitute for the degree). Proficient experience in managing AWS services and infrastructure. Experience with infrastructure as code tools. Strong understanding of scripting languages, cloud security principles, and Kubernetes. IAT Level II certification required.
