New Tech is urgently seeking Night Shift Quality Control Inspectors for a Manufacturing Client in East Houston, TX.
Overview
Accurately and thoroughly performing quality control inspections, checks, and tests on various material types received, any work in process, or finished products to ensure compliance with job specifications Utilize established standards and measurement equipment to verify acceptable dimensional tolerance or pressure integrity Meet all level one and two requirements and assist in training lower-level employees Perform MRP gage set-ups and complete gage set-ups for premium and API threads Pour osteloy "Lead" molds Perform re-gages with third party inspectors Locate and utilize premium thread and API specifications Perform receiving inspection, in-process inspection on all orders, and final inspection Perform titration level, weight, and bend tests for phosphate Locate and utilize Mylar overlays for premium connections Use the Mic-Trac correctly and operate the contour tracer Utilize applicable inspection and test equipment designated by the inspection, measuring, and test equipment work instruction(s) Qualifications
Must be able to read and write A minimum of 3 months relevant industry experience Must demonstrate competency towards MSF 6.1-23, as applicable Must be able to pass pitch diameter / ovality test. Premium threading experience is preferred.
