Seeking an experienced program manager to lead a complex transition from a State agency's legacy financial system to the state ERP (SCEIS). You'll drive disciplined program execution, managing risk, stakeholder engagement, and delivery through vendor collaboration and multi-agency coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Rapidly assess project status, identify risks, and guide the initiative to resolution. Establish and enforce robust program management governance across planning, execution, and change control. Serve as liaison among agency technical teams, vendor partners, ERP experts, and executive sponsors. Maintain transparency through structured communication, reporting, and stakeholder accountability. Oversee scope control, issue resolution, and milestone delivery.
Required Expertise
5+ years managing large-scale ERP or cloud-based system implementations. Strong background in program/project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, SAFe). Proven ability to bring structure to late-stage or troubled programs. Experience working with system integrators and managing cross-functional stakeholder environments. Exceptional communication, facilitation, and strategic problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
Prior public sector or state government ERP implementation experience. Familiarity with ERP platforms such as Oracle, SAP, or Workday. PMP certification or equivalent project governance credentials.
