Senior Data Engineer Location:

Remote (EST or CST) Contract to Hire (C2H)

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Engineer with expertise in cloud architecture, data integration, and ETL pipelines. This role offers a dynamic opportunity for experienced professionals to join a fast-paced environment, contributing to building and optimizing our data infrastructure. You will work with cutting-edge technologies, including Azure, Snowflake, and other modern tools to create scalable, efficient, and reliable data solutions. This position is remote but requires candidates to work within the Eastern or Central Time Zones. Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based data solutions using Azure and AWS services. Develop and manage ETL pipelines to support data processing and integration. Work with Snowflake to design data marts, set up RBAC (Role-Based Access Control), and optimize data architecture. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of data solutions. Implement best practices for data governance and ensure compliance with organizational policies. Participate in the agile software development process, contributing to sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives. Troubleshoot and resolve data issues, optimizing performance where needed. Continuously improve the data infrastructure and pipelines for efficiency, performance, and scalability. Required Skills and Qualifications:

Cloud Architecture:

Solid experience with Azure and/or AWS for building scalable cloud-based data solutions. Azure Data Factory:

Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory for designing and managing ETL workflows. Snowflake:

Proficient in Snowflake, with hands-on experience in:

Designing and implementing data marts. Setting up Role-Based Access Control (RBAC). Administering Snowflake environments and optimizing performance.

ETL Expertise:

Extensive experience in building, managing, and optimizing ETL pipelines. SQL Proficiency:

Excellent SQL skills, capable of writing complex queries, optimization, and troubleshooting. Agile Methodology:

Familiar with Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
