Job Description

Target Pay Rate: 20-23.53/hr salary will be commensurate with experience

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for performing a wide variety of research and development laboratory tasks and experiments, including mechanical, electrical and/or system-level evaluations. Will develop and maintain record keeping for experiments performed. Required to make detailed observations of tests, analyze data, and interpret results Will maintain medical device laboratory equipment and inventory level of laboratory supplies. Will document summaries of testing and may write test protocols and reports. May support troubleshooting and root cause analysis activities. May be assigned routine assembly and testing portions of projects (e.g. product performance and software script testing).

Qualifications: Perform work with minimum supervision and have the ability to prioritize tasks. Must have good interpersonal, communication (both written & verbal) and problem solving skills. Basic computer skills such as word processing, data entry, and e-mail. Basic science and math skills. Mechanical or electrical background would be preferred. Strong and detail-oriented documentation skills.

Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or equivalent, AA degree is strongly preferred 1+ years experience in an electro-mechanical laboratory environment Basic computer skills

Preferred: B.S. in mechanical or electrical engineering Experience with engineering tools and statistical software Ability to understand technical schematics and statistical tools

Nice to Have Skills: 1. Experience with root cause analysis 2. Engineering degree 3. CAD experience
