Principal Engineer
with 10+ years of
MEP
experience to join a top engineering consulting firm delivering mission-critical projects across
DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia .
This
hybrid
role offers flexible hours (core: 9 AM-3 PM), paid overtime, and the opportunity to work on impactful projects in the life sciences and tech sectors.
Responsibilities for the Principal Engineer (MEP) Include: Spearhead the development and implementation of electrical systems for buildings, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems Manage clear paths of communication between mechanical and plumbing teams to ensure integrated MEP designs Approve cost estimating and documentation for project proposals Qualifications for the
Principal Engineer (MEP)
Include:
BSEE preferred; BSME/BSAE still considered PE license Revit MEP or AutoCAD experience is a plus Compensation for the
Principal Engineer (MEP)
Includes:
Salary range approx. $135, 000 - $175,000 annually (based on experience) Annual bonuses + merit-based raises Comprehensive Benefits : Health, Dental, Vision, 401(k), and Sick Leave as required by law
