Lead the

design and optimization

of the

ServiceNow platform , ensuring it aligns with business needs and industry best practices. Manage a

team of engineers

and a direct-report manager, fostering a high-performance culture. Define and execute a

platform roadmap , ensuring scalability, performance, and compliance. Oversee the development of workflows, integrations, and modules across key areas like

ITSM, ITAM, SecOps, GRC, and TPRM . Drive

platform upgrades , ensuring security, stability, and adherence to enterprise standards. Collaborate with

business leaders and stakeholders

to develop solutions that deliver measurable business impact. Establish

governance and best practices

to optimize platform efficiency and adoption. Provide

technical guidance

for configuring, customizing, and developing on

ServiceNow . Stay ahead of the latest

ServiceNow trends and best practices , integrating innovative solutions. Create an environment where

engineers can experiment with new technical solutions

to solve complex problems. Ideal Candidate:

10+ years of ServiceNow experience , with expertise in

ITSM, ITAM, SecOps, GRC, and TPRM . Strong

architecture and design

experience in ServiceNow, including workflows, custom apps, and integrations. Leadership experience, including

mentoring and managing technical teams . Ability to drive complex

large-scale projects

while meeting deadlines and business objectives. Proficiency in scripting languages

(JavaScript, Glide, etc.) and frameworks like

HTML, CSS, AngularJS, SASS, and Bootstrap . Solid understanding of

CMDB, Asset Management, Incident, Problem, and Change Management

processes. Experience integrating

ServiceNow with external systems

using REST/SOAP APIs and

Integration Hub/Spokes . Familiarity with

Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies . Strong

communication skills , with the ability to present technical concepts to stakeholders and executives. Preferred Certifications (Big Plus!):

ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (ITSM, ITAM, or similar) ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) ITIL v3/v4 Certification Certified Technical Architect (CTA) – A major plus Education & Work Authorization:

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or a related field

(or equivalent experience). Must reside within 60 miles of Reston, VA

(hybrid role). US Citizen/Green Card holders preferred.
