General Information Job Description: Responsibilities: • Open, sort, count & batch inbound paper claims from the mail • Scan all inbound paper claims into Imagenet scanning software • Log & scan all inbound Certified mail • Process all inbound files that are received from various departments to ensure that they are properly filed • Delivers quality work under pressure, with the ability to meet deadlines • Scanning, naming of documents received by various departments • Data entry of scanned documents • Quality control checking of scanned documents • Ensure claims are received and sorted correctly for scanning, and batch and track all offline, deleted, and pulled claims • Understand and follow procedures and continuously monitor counts in the system queues to ensure the system is working effectively • Update the claims control sheet in an accurate and timely manner and report unresolved discrepancies immediately to the supervisor • Process outgoing mail and archive various documents, records and requests • May be required to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis

Typical Day in the Role

Daily schedule & OT expectations Typical task breakdown and rhythm Interaction level with team Work environment description (SEE AT TOP OF FORM) Mail intake, document review & scanning/data entry; Receiving incoming mail. Sight determination. Sort and scanning for electronic delivery to the proper recipients. Responding to emails and messages regarding special mailing requests. Bundling outgoing mail to be shipped by outbound mail department. Mail scanning 40 units per hour; Claims scanning 15 batches per hour; all mail must be sorted within a timely manner to allow for same day scanning. Each team members initially assigned tasks normally impacts the next team member's assigned task. Communication & teamwork is essential.
