What to Expect

Tesla's Dojo Silicon Development Team is looking for a Senior, Staff level Design Verification Engineer to develop and manage the verification and test environments. We are looking for the best talent to work on state-of-the-art chip designs, where your limit is only your imagination. You will work with a team of highly talented engineers, who are focused on advancing Tesla's AI mission. If you love solving challenging problems, you will fit in very well with our culture. What You'll Do

Define and review verification and validation testplans at both the unit and integration levels

Review and aid in developing the RTL design architecture and specification

Verify design functionality through writing reusable and scalable testbenches, scoreboards, assertions, and assembly tests

Execute coverage of various use cases, then feeding back to the testplans for closure

Integrate your IP or block into higher level testbenches, then perform cluster/integration level testing

Integrate and work with VIPs to stress-test our IPs for various protocols

Develop and maintain regressions, tools, infrastructure, and methodology

Functional bringup and debug on various platforms and tools

What You'll Bring

Degree in Electrical, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience

5+ years of work experience in designing, verifying, and validating complex hardware systems

Solid programming skills in UVM, Verilog, System Verilog and Python

Proficient in debugging CPU, GPU, fabric, NOC, memory, various protocols like PCIE or Ethernet, or other complex ASIC designs

Knowledge of advanced computer architecture and micro-architecture concepts

Experience with writing directed and random test cases

Experience with power and performance modeling concepts

Experience with hardware-software interaction, and software application testing on the chip is preferred

Emulation/FPGA experience is preferred

Associate Silicon Design Engineer - $88,400 - $132,600/annual salary Silicon Design Engineer - $102,000 - $153,000/annual salary Sr Silicon Design Engineer - $129,200 - $193,800/annual salary Staff Silicon Design Engineer - $149,600 - $224,400/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits for all levels

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
