Must know relational database configuration, focusing on Oracle and MS SQL Server platforms, as well as database design and administration expertise to fill the technical requirements associated with these service requests.Typically has 6 to 10 years of experience as a Subject Matter Expert in Database Administration and ETL with experience in Oracle data loading tools, including, but not limited to, SQL*Loader and Data Pump, as well as Windows and Linux scripts for loading automation.
Extensive knowledge and experience in SQL programming using query tools such as SQL Plus/Scripts, PL/SQL, and Toad. 9 Skill set info 1. Extensive knowledge and experience in Oracle data loading tools, including, but not limited to, SQL*Loader and Data Pump, as well as Windows and Linux scripts for loading automation.
2. Extensive knowledge and experience in SQL programming using query tools such as SQL Plus/Scripts, PL/SQL, and Toad.
3. Extensive knowledge and experience in Oracle tuning, including SQL tuning/optimizing to ensure the response time and throughput, as well as Oracle statistics generation to improve the performance of the Oracle optimizer.
4. Demonstrated knowledge of terminology, usage, and operating characteristics of information systems' hardware, software, and operating system components within the client-server and web environment.
5. Ability to perform the SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) process, including business process flow analysis, defining detailed requirements and technical design documentation for development, and performing the system and integration tests, specifically for the ETL business requirements.
6. Ability to analyze and evaluate moderate to highly complex information systems by being able to interpret such devices as Entity-Relationship Diagrams, data dictionaries, record layouts, and logic flow diagrams.
7. Ability to interact with end users and monitor the operations of ODAS systems.
8. Ability to create SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) and follow the SOP daily to maintain the high availability of ODAS systems.
9. Ability to coordinate with OIG system administrators and DAS staff to deploy application(s) to ODAS systems.
10. Ability to provide guidance and instructions to a team of junior-level staff members.
11. Ability to translate OIG project requirements into detailed system/design requirements, to include providing alternatives, recommendations, and assistance to management and staff.
12. Ability to design, install, configure, implement, and integrate the full range of Oracle data warehouse on RAC including ASM on SAN, Oracle Fusion Middleware components (Oracle Access Manager, OAM, and Oracle Unified Directory, OUD for 2FA Smart Card authentication, and BI Publisher reports), and Oracle cloud control with capacity planning and security implementation including Oracle TDE/Wallet and Database Vault rule sets.13. Ability to define and implement the secured network data files transmission with SAIG message class/TDClient, SFTP, and VPN NetScaler.
14. Ability to process the full range of end-to-end ETL processes starting with source data files evaluation and transmission, encryption/decryption (PKI/GPG commands), conversion (PERL), data loading (TOAD data point/for Oracle, Oracle Import/Export, Oracle SQL*Loader, Oracle SQL*Plus, Oracle Scripts/PL SQL) as well as data reconciliation to trace the scheduled and prioritized ETL tasks.
15. Serve as a production manager to interact with end users and monitor the operations of ODAS systems and provide support with real-time diagnosis and troubleshooting based on the web and database architecture to ODAS system users.
16. Must be able to implement the Oracle and Linux security with Shell programming, MS Share Point, and MS Office, as well as Oracle WebLogic configurations and operations to manage Oracle OAM, OUD, and BI Publisher.
17. Ability to research and perform system analysis to allow for a fully functional big data system and unstructured database, including feasibility studies of social media.
18. Shall be able to assist in implementing the version upgrade, changes, and patches in silent mode for the Oracle Grid Infrastructure, RAC Database (including Advanced Security features), Oracle Fusion Middleware (including Oracle WebLogic Server, Oracle HTTP Server, Oracle Access Manager, Oracle Unified Directory, Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition, and Oracle Cloud Control), Oracle Database Vault, and all standard components of each application. 10 Education Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology.
