Job Summary
The Behavioral Health Navigator will play a vital role in supporting individuals receiving outpatient mental health services by helping them access care, coordinate services, and overcome barriers to treatment. The Navigator serves as a liaison between clients, clinical providers, and community resources to ensure a seamless continuum of care and to promote engagement, retention, and positive outcomes in behavioral health treatment.
Qualifications
Required: Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Public Health, or related field 1-2 years of experience in behavioral health, case management, or care coordination Strong interpersonal and communication skills Knowledge of mental health, substance use disorders, and community resources Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in documentation and use of electronic health records Preferred:
Bilingual Experience working with underserved or high-risk populations Familiarity with trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, or harm reduction principles
