Job Summary:
Sysco is actively seeking dependable Local CDL A Delivery Truck Drivers. Responsibilities include safely operating a tractor-trailer, manually unloading, and delivering products such as meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, and dry goods to various customer locations per an assigned route. Our drivers cultivate relationships with customers, leveraging a friendly attitude to anticipate and meet their needs effectively.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
Undergo a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
Ability to read, write, and communicate proficiently in English.
Ability to lift, push, or move products weighing between 40-60 pounds, with occasional weights up to 100 pounds.
Willingness to work overtime, including weekends and holidays as required by business needs.
Preferred Experience:
A year of experience in customer delivery.
Six months of experience using hand carts or hand trucks.
Six months in a Food and Beverage-related position.
A consistent work history spanning at least two years.
